Potsdam - the capital of the federal state of Brandenburg that surrounds Berlin is a marvelous city of gardens, palaces, churches and other historical sites. It was the home of the Prussian kings and also a center of cold war espionage.

 

Potsdam was also the location of, probably, the most important conference of the 20th century the Potsdam conference, a conference that shaped Europe post war future.
